Trafficking By Amount
ORC 2925.03 — one degree up, and the enhancements on top
Trafficking is the same substances and the same weight tiers, charged a degree or more higher, with a second column that goes higher still when an enhancement applies. It also does not require a completed sale. Preparing for shipment, or possessing with intent, is enough.

- Heroin, fentanyl related compounds, LSD, hashish, and controlled substance analogs each have their own trafficking table with the same structure.
- Manufacturing and cultivation is a third section again, and for methamphetamine it carries its own mandatory minimum years.
- Assembling or possessing the chemicals to make a schedule I or II drug is an offence before anything is made.
- Fentanyl trafficking carries an additional specification that can add three to eight mandatory years on top of the sentence.
Trafficking tiers here are abbreviated to the substances people ask about most. The full set covers every schedule and every form, and it is in the Drug Offense Quick Reference Guide and in 2925.03 itself.
