ORS 83.720 — cancelled in writing until midnight of the third business day

Three business days. A buyer in a home solicitation sale can cancel until 12 midnight of the third business day after signing or paying, by written notice to the seller at the address in the agreement. A notice by mail counts when it is mailed, and it needs no particular form.

There is no right to cancel where the buyer called the seller for emergency work, waived the right in a separate signed writing, and the seller had begun the work in good faith.
