A self-service storage facility has a lien on everything in a rented space for the rent, agreed charges and the costs of preserving and selling the property, and may keep the property until paid.
The notice before a sale. Before selling, the owner sends a notice by verified mail or email with an itemized statement of the claim, the space, and a demand for payment by a date not earlier than 30 days after the default, stating that unpaid property will be advertised and sold at a set time and place.
