Turning Eighteen
SDCL § 26-1-1 — minors are persons under eighteen years of age, counted from the first minute of the day of birth
Minors are persons under eighteen years of age, counted from the first minute of the day of birth to the same minute of the corresponding day.
An individual eighteen or more years of age who is of sound mind may make a will.
Alcohol, and some other things, wait until twenty-one years. A particular question is one for a licensed South Dakota attorney.
