23 V.S.A. § 1256 — every rider and passenger wears a helmet meeting federal standards
No one may operate or ride on a motorcycle on a highway without properly wearing protective headgear that meets the federal motor vehicle safety standard. Occupants of a fully enclosed autocycle are excepted.
