When the Landlord Can Come In
9 V.S.A. § 4460 — 48 hours' notice, between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., for the listed purposes
- A landlord may enter with the tenant's consent, which may not be unreasonably withheld.
- Without consent, entry is between 9:00 A.M. and 9:00 P.M. on no less than 48 hours' notice, to inspect, make repairs, supply agreed services, or show the unit.
- Entry without consent or notice is allowed only on a reasonable belief of imminent danger to a person or property.
