Without regard to misconduct. A Washington court may order maintenance for either spouse or domestic partner, in amounts and for periods it deems just, without regard to misconduct.
- The financial resources of the spouse seeking it, including property awarded, and the ability to meet their needs independently.
- The time needed for education or training to find appropriate work.
- The standard of living during the marriage, and its duration.
- The age, physical and emotional condition, and obligations of the spouse seeking it.
- The other spouse's ability to meet their own needs while paying.
