AS 18.65.800 — no rule may bar a gun locked in a legally parked car, except near a secured restricted area within 300 feet

The exception. An employer may bar firearms in a secured restricted access area, in a vehicle the employer owns, leases or rents, or in an employer controlled parking lot within 300 feet of a secured restricted access area that leaves out common areas open to the public, and posts conspicuous notice.
No one is liable for an injury or damage caused by a firearm kept in another person's vehicle as this law allows.
