Reckless Driving
A.R.S. 28-693 — a class 2 misdemeanor, and a class 1 on a repeat within 24 months
Reckless disregard. Driving a vehicle in reckless disregard for the safety of persons or property is reckless driving, a class 2 misdemeanor. The judge may take the license and order the driving privilege suspended for not more than 90 days.
A repeat conviction within 24 months of a prior reckless driving, DUI, racing or vehicular homicide conviction is a class 1 misdemeanor, with no release until at least 20 days have been served in jail and a license suspension of one year.
Knowingly aiding or abetting another person's reckless driving is also a class 2 misdemeanor.
