Minimum Wage
19 Del. C. § 902 — $15.00 an hour since January 1, 2025, and $2.23 for tipped work
$15.00. Every employer pays every employee at least $15.00 an hour, the rate in effect since January 1, 2025. A higher federal minimum would become the state minimum.
In work where tips are customarily part of pay, meaning more than $30 a month in tips, part of the tips may count toward the wage, but the cash rate may never be less than $2.23 an hour.
