Reckless Driving

21 Del. C. § 4175 — wilful or wanton disregard, or 90 miles an hour or more, and aggressive driving as a pattern of 3 violations

No one may drive in wilful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property, and no one may drive on a public roadway at 90 miles an hour or more.

Aggressive driving is continuous conduct that breaks 3 or more of the listed rules, among them following too closely, failing to signal, unsafe lane changes, passing on the right, ignoring a stop sign, and speeding.

Careless driving is driving in a careless or imprudent manner, or without due regard for the road, weather and traffic. Inattentive driving is failing to give full time and attention to driving, or to keep a proper lookout.
