Driving Without Privileges
Idaho Code § 18-8001 — a misdemeanor with notice or knowledge of the suspension, and a $150 infraction for some suspensions
With knowledge or notice. Driving or being in actual physical control of a motor vehicle on a highway with knowledge, or after legal notice, that the license or privilege is revoked, disqualified or suspended in Idaho or elsewhere is a misdemeanor.
Where the suspension was for an underage alcohol violation, unpaid judgments, or certain other listed reasons, it is instead an infraction with a fine of $150.
Unless a section sets another punishment, a misdemeanor carries up to six months in the county jail, a fine of up to $1,000, or both.
No restricted privileges are granted without proof of liability insurance. A particular charge is a question for a licensed Idaho attorney.
