The Tint On Your Windows
Idaho Code § 49-944 — 35% on the front side windows and the rear window, 20% behind the driver, and nothing below the AS-1 line

Film must be nonreflective, with a luminous reflectance of no more than 35%. No one may drive, sell or offer to sell a vehicle whose windows do not comply.
A medical exception. A vehicle driven by or carrying a person with a written medical need may have film letting through at least 70% on the windshield and at least 20% on the windows.
A violation is an infraction. A particular vehicle is a question for the installer or a licensed Idaho attorney.
