When The School Calls It Bullying
Idaho Code § 18-917A — harassment, intimidation or bullying by a student, an infraction, online included
No student or minor on school property or at a school activity may intentionally harass, intimidate or bully another student.
Bullying is an intentional gesture, or written, verbal or physical act or threat, that a reasonable person should know will harm a student or their property, or put them in reasonable fear of harm, or that is severe, persistent or pervasive enough to create an intimidating, threatening or abusive school environment.
Online counts. It may be committed by phone or through data or software on a computer or network, and a student who personally violates the section may be guilty of an infraction.
