A Fake ID
Iowa Code § 321.216 — showing someone else's license, or lending one's own, is a simple misdemeanor
- Displaying or possessing a canceled, revoked, suspended, fictitious or fraudulently altered driver's license or nonoperator's identification card.
- Lending one's own license or card to another person, or knowingly letting another use it.
- Displaying or representing as one's own a license or card not issued to that person.
- Failing to surrender a suspended, revoked or canceled license or card when the department lawfully demands it.
Each is a simple misdemeanor punished as a scheduled violation.
