Tampering with a Witness

Iowa Code § 720.4 — one degree higher than the underlying offense, and never lower than an aggravated misdemeanor

Tampering with a witness, juror or reporting party is classified and punished as an offense one degree higher than the underlying offense, up to a class C felony and never lower than an aggravated misdemeanor.
