Theft
Iowa Code § 714.2 — five degrees, from $300 or less to over $10,000
Theft includes taking another's property intending to deprive them of it, and misusing property held in trust. Not returning leased or borrowed property within 72 hours after the time in a written agreement is evidence of misappropriation.
