A Concealed Carry License

KRS 237.110 — issued by the State Police at twenty-one, valid for five years

  • The Department of Kentucky State Police issues a license to carry a concealed deadly weapon to an applicant who meets the listed criteria, including being twenty-one years of age or older.
  • Unless revoked or suspended, a license is valid for five years from the date of issuance.
  • At least 120 days before it expires, the State Police mail a notice and a renewal form; an expired license is void.
