KRS 244.085 — a person under twenty one may not buy, possess for personal use, or try to buy alcohol
- A person under twenty one may not enter licensed premises to buy or receive alcohol.
- They may not possess alcohol for personal use, or buy, try to buy, or have someone else buy it for them.
- They may not misrepresent their age to get served.
These are violations. For a person under eighteen, a violation of these rules is a status offense handled in the juvenile session of District Court or the family division of Circuit Court.
