Who Cannot Have a Gun

KRS 527.040 — a felony conviction bars a firearm, and a handgun makes it a Class C felony

A person convicted of a felony in any state or federal court who possesses, manufactures or transports a firearm commits possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, unless granted a full pardon by the Governor or the President, or relief under the federal Gun Control Act.
