Driving While Suspended

Transp. § 16-303 — up to 1 year or $1,000 for a first offense

A person may not drive in Maryland while the license or privilege to drive is refused, canceled, suspended or revoked here, or while a license from another state is canceled, suspended or revoked.

Someone charged under subsections (h) or (i) has to appear in court and may not prepay the fine.
