After A Crash
Mo. Rev. Stat. § 577.060 — stop and give your information, or it is leaving the scene
- Name.
- Residence, including city and street number.
- The vehicle's registration or license number.
- Operator's license number, if any.
A Missouri driver who knows of an accident causing injury, death, or damage to someone else's property has to stop and give that information to the other party or a law enforcement officer, or, with no officer nearby, to the nearest law enforcement agency. Leaving without doing it is the offense of leaving the scene.
