Deceptive Business Practices
Mo. Rev. Stat. § 407.020 — the Merchandising Practices Act
Missouri makes it an unlawful practice to use deception, fraud, false pretense, a false promise, misrepresentation, an unfair practice, or the concealment, suppression or omission of any material fact in connection with selling or advertising merchandise in trade or commerce, or soliciting funds for a charity, in or from Missouri.
With intent to defraud, a class E felony. Willfully and knowingly engaging in an unlawful practice under the section with intent to defraud is a class E felony.
