It is an unlawful employment practice in Missouri for an employer to refuse to hire, to fire, or otherwise discriminate in pay or terms of employment because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, ancestry, age or disability, or to limit, segregate or classify employees or applicants in ways that deprive them of opportunities for those reasons.
One hundred eighty days. Before suing under the Missouri Human Rights Act, a person has to file a signed, verified written complaint with the commission within one hundred eighty days of the discriminatory act.
