The Registration Calendar
Mo. Rev. Stat. § 589.414 — in person within three business days of a change of residence
Three business days. A registrant appears in person to the registration official within three business days of a change in name, residence, employment or student status, or the end of any of them.
Other changes. Changes in vehicle, temporary residence, telephone and online identifier information are reported within three business days.
A new county. A registrant who moves to a different county, or a city not within a county, appears in person and informs both the registration official where last registered and the new one in writing within three business days.
Who must register, for how long, and the penalty for failing to report are set out in other parts of the law that are not on this page. Whether a deadline applies to a particular person is a question for a licensed Missouri attorney.
