The Tint On Your Windows

Mo. Rev. Stat. § 307.173 — thirty-five percent on the front side windows, and nothing on the windshield below the factory band

In Missouri, the front side windows to the immediate left and right of the driver may have a sun-screening device with a light transmission of thirty-five percent or more, plus or minus three percent, and a luminous reflectance of thirty-five percent or less, plus or minus three percent.

A permit for a serious medical condition. The department of public safety may issue a permit for darker front side windows to a person with a serious medical condition whose physician prescribes it. The permit covers any titleholder or close relative in the household.

A class C misdemeanor. Violating the section is a class C misdemeanor. Vehicles with historical license plates are exempt.
