Pulling Over For A Siren
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 60-6,151 — to the right edge, clear of the intersection, and stopped until it passes
To the right and stop. When an emergency vehicle approaches with its signals on, every other driver yields, drives as close as possible to the right-hand edge or curb, clear of any intersection, and stops until it passes.
On a one-way roadway, the driver may pull to either edge. A pedestrian on the roadway yields as well, unless a peace officer directs otherwise.
The emergency driver still owes due regard for everyone's safety. A particular citation is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
