The Last Hundred Feet
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 60-6,161 — a turn signal for the last one hundred feet, and no turn until it is safe
One hundred feet. A signal of intention to turn or move right or left is given continuously during not less than the last one hundred feet traveled before turning.
No one turns or moves right or left until it can be done with reasonable safety and with a signal, or stops or suddenly slows without signaling the driver behind when there is a chance to.
Turn signals may not be flashed as a courtesy to tell the driver behind to pass. A particular stop is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
