The Motorcycle Helmet
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 60-6,279 — a helmet, or twenty-one, a Class M license and the safety course, with eye protection
A helmet, or the exception. No one may operate a motorcycle or moped on a highway without a protective helmet meeting the federal standard and secured with a chin strap, unless the rider is at least twenty-one, holds a Nebraska Class M license, and has completed and filed proof of the required safety course.
The section sets eye protection rules and conditions of its own. A particular stop is a question for a licensed Nebraska attorney.
