Where You May Not Park
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 60-6,166 — fifteen feet from a hydrant, twenty from a crosswalk, thirty from a stop sign
- Double parked on the roadway side of a parked car, on a sidewalk, in an intersection or on a crosswalk.
- On a bridge, in a highway tunnel or on railroad tracks.
- Where official signs prohibit stopping.
Those are places where no one may stop, stand or park, except to avoid traffic or as directed.
- In front of a driveway.
- Within fifteen feet of a fire hydrant.
- Within twenty feet of a crosswalk at an intersection.
- Within thirty feet of a flashing signal, stop sign, yield sign or other traffic control device.
Those are places where no one may stand or park, except momentarily to pick up or drop off a passenger.
