Paid Leave
NRS 608.0197 — 0.01923 hours for every hour worked, for any reason, with 50 or more employees
A private employer with 50 or more employees in Nevada provides paid leave of at least 0.01923 hours for each hour worked, either all at the start of the benefit year or accrued through it. An employee may use it from the 90th calendar day of employment.
No reason has to be given. Paid leave can be used for any purpose, without giving a reason, with notice as soon as practicable. The employer may not deny it, require the employee to find a replacement, or retaliate for its use.

An accounting of available leave comes with each payday. Unused leave need not be paid out at separation, but it is reinstated for an employee rehired within 90 days who did not leave voluntarily. A new employer is exempt for its first 2 years, and temporary, seasonal and on-call employees are not covered.
