When The Check Does Not Come
NRS 608.080 — regular paydays posted on the wall, 7 days' notice of a change
Every employer keeps regular paydays and posts notices of them, and of the place of payment, in at least two conspicuous places where employees can see them. The place of payment has to be in the justice court precinct where the work was done.
A payday cannot move overnight. Once paydays and the place of payment are set, the employer may not change either unless written notice reaches the affected employees not fewer than 7 days before the change.
An employee absent when wages are paid, who is not hiding to avoid it, is paid within 5 days after a written demand.
