N.D.C.C. § 36-21.2-12 — leaving an animal in a vehicle where it is endangered is an infraction
No one may leave an animal unattended in a vehicle without making sure its health and safety are not endangered. A violation is an infraction, and an officer may use reasonable means to enter the vehicle and remove the animal.
