Passing A School Bus
ORS 811.155 — stop for the red lights from either direction, a Class A traffic violation
A driver meeting or overtaking, from either direction, a vehicle stopped on the roadway with its red bus safety lights operating has to stop before reaching it and stay stopped until the lights stop.
A driver need not stop where the bus is on a different roadway. Failing to stop is a Class A traffic violation.
