Working Under Sixteen
R.I. Gen. Laws § 28-3-11 — forty hours a week and eight a day under sixteen, forty-eight a week under eighteen

Those limits apply in a business or mercantile establishment, and the under eighteen limit also in factories. There are at least eight hours between the end of one day's work and the start of the next.
