Horses and Buggies on the Road
Utah Code 41-6a-213 — riders and buggy drivers follow the traffic chapter, without the license sanctions
A person riding an animal or driving an animal drawn vehicle on a roadway is subject to the traffic chapter, with one exception: driver license sanctions for alcohol or drug related traffic offenses do not apply to them.
Who handles this in Utah: legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the Utah directory.
Which lamps a buggy carries at night is not settled by this section. A particular ticket is a question for a licensed Utah attorney.
