When They Take the Car Back
Utah Code 70A-9a-609 — after default, without a court only without a breach of the peace
After default, a secured party may take possession of the collateral, either through judicial process or without it, if it proceeds without a breach of the peace.
Who handles this in Utah: legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the Utah directory.
If agreed, and in any event after default, the secured party may require the debtor to assemble the collateral at a place reasonably convenient to both.
