An Interpreter for Deaf People
1 V.S.A. § 332 — a qualified interpreter or CART services in any proceeding
- A person who is Deaf, Hard of Hearing or DeafBlind and is a party or witness in a proceeding is entitled to a qualified interpreter or CART services for as long as they take part.
- On five working days' notice, the same help is provided to do business with a State board or agency, attend State sponsored hearings and meetings, or take part in legislative activities.
- Someone who cannot use sign language gets assistive listening equipment on the same notice.
