13 V.S.A. § 1031 — stopping someone from getting emergency help during or after a crime
Willfully preventing, or trying to prevent, someone from seeking or getting emergency medical help, emergency help from a third party, or emergency help from law enforcement, during or after the commission of a crime, carries up to one year and $5,000.
