21 V.S.A. § 710 — no firing or refusing to hire for asserting a workers' compensation claim
- No employer may refuse to hire an applicant because the applicant asserted a workers' compensation claim.
- No one may fire or discriminate against an employee for asserting, or trying to assert, a claim.
- No employer may retaliate against someone who reported a violation or cooperated with an investigation.
- The Attorney General or a State's Attorney may enforce it as though it were an unfair act in commerce.
