A Sale At Your Door
W. Va. Code § 46A-2-132 — until midnight of the third business day to cancel
Three business days. A buyer may cancel a home solicitation sale until midnight of the third business day after signing the agreement or offer.
The cancellation is a written notice to the seller at the address in the agreement, in any form that shows the buyer does not want to be bound. A mailed notice counts when it is deposited in a mailbox, properly addressed and stamped.
The right does not cover an emergency job the buyer asked for that the seller has substantially begun. A particular contract is a question for a licensed West Virginia attorney.
