Refused Service
W. Va. Code § 16B-17-9 — a place open to the public may not turn someone away for race, religion, sex, age, blindness or disability
The owner, manager or employee of a place of public accommodation may not refuse, withhold or deny anyone its accommodations, facilities or services because of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, blindness or disability.
Nor may it post or publish a notice that it will refuse anyone for those reasons.
A complaint goes to the Human Rights Commission within 365 days. A particular claim is a question for a licensed West Virginia attorney.
