Lanes and Passing
W.S. 31-5-201 — the right half of the road, and slower traffic in the right lane
- On a roadway wide enough, a vehicle is driven on the right half, except when passing, avoiding an obstruction, on a three lane or one way road, or in a designated lane.
- Outside one way streets, a vehicle going slower than the normal speed of traffic is driven in the right hand lane, or as close as practicable to the right edge.
Who handles this in Wyoming: Wyoming State Bar, attorney referrals; and legal aid programs and the state offices, listed in the Wyoming directory.
On a road with marked lanes, a vehicle stays as nearly as practicable within a single lane, and moves out of it only after the driver has made sure the move can be made safely.
