When the Landlord Can Come In
W.S. 1-21-1205 — a renter may not unreasonably refuse entry for repairs, inspection or showings
Wyoming's rental law sets no notice period for a landlord's entry. It says a renter may not unreasonably deny access, refuse entry, or withhold consent to the owner, agent or manager coming in to make repairs, inspect, or show the unit for rent or sale.
Who handles this in Wyoming: legal aid programs, lawyer referral and the state offices, listed in the Wyoming directory.
Grounds for eviction. A renter who violates the prohibited acts, including an unreasonable refusal of entry, can face an eviction case for it.
