Working Under Eighteen

A.R.S. 23-233 — three hours a school day under sixteen, and nothing after 9:30 p.m. before a school day

In Arizona, employment of persons under the age of sixteen is confined by the statute, and the limits change with whether school is in session.

Door-to-door work. Persons under sixteen may not do door-to-door solicitation sales or deliveries between 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. before a school day, or between 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. before a day without school.

Newspaper delivery. The section does not apply to persons who deliver newspapers to a consumer.
