Passing a School Bus
21 Del. C. § 4166 — stop for the flashing lights from either direction, and lose the license for up to a year
When a school bus is stopped with its flashing lamps on, a driver approaching from the front or the rear stops before passing it, and stays stopped until the bus moves or the red lamps go off. On a road of 4 or more lanes, a driver approaching from the front does not stop.

A conviction also brings a license suspension of not less than 1 month and not more than 1 year, with a conditional license possible under the Department's regulations.
