Reckless Driving
Idaho Code § 49-1401 — careless and heedless driving that endangers anyone, and twenty over in an active school or work zone
Reckless driving is driving carelessly and heedlessly or without due caution, at a speed or in a manner that endangers or is likely to endanger people or property, passing where a line marks a sight restriction, or going more than twenty miles per hour over the limit in an active school zone with children present or a work zone with workers present.
The penalties. A first offense is a misdemeanor carrying up to six months, a fine of up to $1,000, or both. A second within five years carries up to one year, a fine of up to $2,000, or both, and a license suspension.
