Iowa Code § 321.415 — low beams within one thousand feet of an oncoming car
- A driver approaching an oncoming vehicle within one thousand feet aims the beam so the glaring rays are not projected into the oncoming driver's eyes.
- A driver following another vehicle within four hundred feet, except while passing, does not use the uppermost beam.
- Motorcycles and motorized bicycles running between sunrise and sunset are outside both rules.
