Military Service and Your Job
Iowa Code § 29A.43 — no discrimination or firing for National Guard or reserve membership
- No one may discriminate against a member of the National Guard, the reserves, the Coast Guard or the Civil Air Patrol because of that membership.
- An employer may not fire someone for that membership, or keep a member from performing duty when called by proper authority.
