Pedestrians in the Road
Iowa Code § 321.329 — due care to avoid any pedestrian, and the horn when necessary
- Every driver exercises due care to avoid colliding with any pedestrian on a roadway, and sounds the horn when necessary.
- A driver takes due care on seeing a child, or a confused or incapacitated person, on the roadway.
- A driver yields to maintenance or construction workers on a highway when a flagger or a warning sign gives notice of them.
